Negative...I NEED A JOB! LOLZ but seriously…

The world is changing so much and being in college on my own I have so much more of a listening ear...being a part of this time having a black president and my home state being at a loss for money cutting education & laying off teachers makes me wonder what will be important in the next coming year or 5 years even.
Where will I be able to make the biggest impact because of the preparation that I’m doing now...I know that I have to think globally not just nationally and the recession has definitely been a major factor in my seeing that money is something that I didn’t think much about before when I was in high school. I didn’t have a job or a car all there was to life was school...but now having to have a job paying for my lifestyle and well being own my own...having my own bank account that is only made up of the money I’ve earned...trying to keep my savings up and just gaining my independence has brought me into the real world and closer to the issues of my surroundings.
The recession isn’t something that I’m constantly thinking about, but I still feel a tinge inside when I hear the word economy

I'm a strong believer in the power of God & who has control over everything so the recession does not affect me personally. I am working a summer job & will be attending my 3rd year of college this fall. Believing that God will make a way no matter what like he has always done...the negative would be some people around who choose to be a part of the recession & get money by illegal means & blame it on the economy or choose to not lend a helping hand & blame it on the economy. Without faith, it is impossible to please God so I choose to keep trucking & trusting God. :)

Well, it's hard for me to get a job. One, because I'm young and two, because I don't have the experience, but now I can't even gain experience.
My parents are always complaining about money issues. And I get tired of hearing about it even though it's the truth. It affects me negatively, because I miss out on fun things. However, fun isn't a top priority but a roof, food, clothes, transportation and education are.
But positively, it's helping my family to get a new home. So, that's how the recession is affecting me.

Today's economy causes me to think twice before I spend. Layoffs and pink slips are around every corner which makes now more than ever the best time to be grateful and save that almighty dollar.

A positive: I have been getting a lot of call backs for some jobs I applied to online, but all in all I can't complain because I know God will take care of me :)

The economy is affecting me in so many ways. The positives are that I know that God is going to provide me with what I need. I have food and water, and I have somewhere to stay and live. The negatives are I can't have everything that I want, I can't have all the new clothes and shoes and my work hours have been cut short and my pay check have decreased a little.
